Donating Beanie Babies
I found a use for all those Beanies that my daughter used to collect; we're donating them to the fire station. The fire captain said they gave out several toys last week to children involved in a car accident. She kept them dust free, in mint condition and now they may do some good.

4 Out of 5 Voices In My Head Say Go For It Poster
I adore doorways; they represent possibilities. I particularly like the negative space in the hallway and on the stairs.

Minnesota Phrases Typography Poster
I used to deny saying you betcha, uff da, and okie dokie. When my parakeet started saying them, I had to admit my family might be correct.

I Love You Like Dobby Loves Socks Poster
I love my watermelon socks almost as much as Dobby would. I scanned the marker drawing from my artist journal after doing a sketch of my favorite motorcycling socks.

Go Play Outside Kayak on Lake Poster
It doesn't get much better than this. I took the photo on one of our gorgeous Minnesota lakes and played with the image in Photoshop so that it would have an Instagram type effect. I think I need to get an iPhone; Photoshop is a lot more effort than a phone effect.

Bear Hug Punny Poster
Some people consider puns to be a lower form of humor, it's my personal favorite.
The bear is a vintage illustration from the Graphics Fairy. I changed his color and turned him into a vector.
I like the circle with hug since a hug goes around someone.

8 Bit Rygar Poster
I made an 8 bit style poster for the rec room of one of my DH's favorite vintage games. Thank goodness Illustrator tools make all those little vector pixels fairly easy to do.
I used the rectangular grid tool, turned the grid into a live paint group and used the paint bucket to fill the grid. The squares were .02 inches so there was plenty to paint; it's a good thing I powered up with a double cappuccino.
