The Good, The Bad And The Junk Food
I can't seem to escape drawing what I eat and we do love meatballs. Why is it that meatballs taste so much better than hamburgers? My secret plan is to focus on the meatballs and ignore the ice cream, mini donuts and the crazy shadows.

Where's The Lox
We love to feed the seagulls and they enjoy handfuls of bagel bits tossed in the air. The goofiest thing we ever fed them was cold pasta salad and it was the biggest hit.

Nice Crop of Rocks
Minnesota fields are famous for the fresh crop of rocks that appear every spring. This journal painting shows an abandoned field that has been reclaimed by the prairie.

Too Much Water
I've started drinking 6-12 glasses of water a day, the catch is the glasses hold 2 cups and I'm starting to slosh when I walk.

The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift DVD Cover
This is the other DVD my daughter bought without the art work from a used DVD store. I didn't want to do something new for the insert so I recycled another old drawing.
The sketch is from a photo of the topography along the Yangtze River and a piece of rope. I did a live trace in Illustrator and colored it.

The Sixth Sense DVD Cover
My daughter bought a couple of used DVD's but they didn't have the art insert, only the case. I recycled an old image that I had done in Illustrator. The rotate tool is even more fun than a Spirograph.

Pretty But Lots of Work
I love the cork printed seat, wicker basket, balloon white wall tires, and all the decorative painting but dang it's a lot of work to ride. Next time function wins over retro cool.

The origami paper cranes are over 24" in diameter and were folded from very large sheets of card stock.
The cranes signify peace and prosperity. MCTC is the most diverse school in the Twin Cities and the installation celebrated all the upcoming graduates.

Purrfect Pets Logo and Business Card
This is a design for a nonexistent company. I was inspired by the dreadful photographs from our local Humane Society. Professional portraits help these sweet creatures find a new home quicker. Our current dogs didn't come from a shelter but most of our other pets have.
A vertical version of the front of the business card.
The back of the card works horizontally or vertically.

Business Card and Logo For Inkling Design
Inkling definition: a vague idea or notion.
My new logo shows a blue ball (an inkling of an idea) coming out of a box and the logo also has an abstract face. The back of the card, the ideas are flowing freely, one idea leads to another.
